Slow Food Maui Taste Education at Ali`i Lavender Farm July 10
Ever wonder if locally grown lettuce taste fresher or if it’s more flavorful than lettuce imported to Maui? Do varieties of tomatoes taste different? Have you ever had grass-fed, all natural Maui beef?
Well, now is the time to learn more about the food you eat and the sheer pleasure found in food Grown on Maui. Join representatives from Slow Food Maui for Taste Education – a tasting event that will allow you to enjoy and learn about food locally grown on Maui. Cost $5.00 for adults and children 10 and older to sample, one time each, from four taste stations. The taste stations are varieties of tomatoes, beef, lettuces, and jams & jellies.
